Wichita, KS (April 14th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, are excited to announce that former Thunder forward and Assistant Coach Jason Duda has been selected into the 2016 Class of The Wichita Sports Hall of Fame. Duda will join nine other individuals into this year's class that also includes two media members and a sports organization.
Two notable members of the class will be former Wichita State basketball stars Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet, who will join Duda into the 2016 Class.
Duda is the Thunder's all-time leader in goals (337), assists (533), points (870), games played (730), hat tricks (11), shootout goals (21-68), and overtime goals (7). He is also second in power play goals (101), shorthanded goals (22) and game-winning goals (42). The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 7th at Hillside Christian Church, located at 8330 E.
