BSens Recall Krushelnyski; Rodewald Loaned

Wichita, KS (Nov. 9th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced today that forward Alex Krushelnyski has been recalled to the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators. In a separate transaction, forward Jack Rodewald has been loaned to the Senators.

Krushelnyski has had a solid start to the season, recording points in his first five games (2g, 5a). The Los Angeles, California native was assigned to Wichita before the season started and is second on the team in points with seven. He appeared in three AHL games last year with the Hartford Wolf Pack, recording one assist.

Rodewald is coming off a four-point weekend, recording a goal and an assist on Friday night against Utah and following that up with a pair of goals on Saturday. He leads the team in goals with five and tied for the team-lead in points with eight (5g, 3a). The Winnipeg, Manitoba native has 16 games of AHL experience, playing with the Toronto Marlies seven games last season.

The team announced yesterday that defenseman Martin Nemcik has been taken off the immigration pending list and forward Triston Grant has rejoined the team and been placed on reserve.

Wichita returns to action with its first three-in-three this weekend. The Thunder hosts Tulsa on Friday, travels to the BOK Center on Saturday and then returns home on Sunday afternoon to face the Fort Wayne Komets.

Friday night is Top Gun Night, presented by Qdoba. The team will wear a special Top Gun-themed uniform and all military personnel can receive a discounted ticket with a valid ID.
