WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder will open training camp on Monday with a pair of practices at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. 28 players will take the ice for Wichita, including defenseman Pascal Bedard, who has notched 113 points in 280 career games. The Thunder expect another key forward to join the team on Tuesday and continue negotiations with a veteran forward. The Thunder will host the Tulsa Oilers in an exhibition game on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. at the Wichita Ice Center. All seats for the game will be general admission and will cost $10 each. The Thunder will donate a portion of the proceeds to the family of former Tulsa defenseman Rob Guinn, who was killed in a traffic accident this past August.The Thunder will also play a pair of exhibition games at the defending CHL Champion Arizona Sundogs on Friday and Saturday, October 10th and 11th.
